StuffAboutMinneapolis posts Alex Chilton - The Replacements and FightWithKnives deems it not only the “Wednesday Morning Dance Party” song but her “Song of the Summer 2009.”  Capital!

This used to be my cell phone alarm clock ring tone until it proved to be problematically awesome.  While failing to wake me up on time (or at all) it did provide the soundtrack to some batshit dreams.

I wish I lived in a 2009 where this was the song of the summer, instead of “American Boy” or “That’s Not My Name” (or, um, “Don’t Stop Believing”).

This is the song of every summer.
