antikris: folkinz: one of my all time favorite bands, the raveonettes, released lust lust lust this year…of course it made it to my list of favorite releases…how couldn’t it?  this may not be my favorite raveonettes album (that great love sound), but it’s still great…sune & sharin continue to infuse their two part harmonies, 50’s/60’s rock & roll, and velvet underground/jesus & mary chain inspired fuzz to this album…they are brilliant live and from the very first time i saw them when they released whip it on i have stayed completely in love with this band… my fave 3 tracks: dead sound black satin you want the candy Ditto check out dead sound video What? ‘Ally Walk With Me’ is clearly the best song on this album.
