“Whatever is driving this negative trend, it seems more than implausible to connect it to same-sex marriage. How would it even work that a 15-year-old girl in Van Nuys, California, becomes more likely to have a baby because two men in Des Moines, Iowa, can marry?
Maybe somebody can believe the connection, but I cannot.”
Forgive me David Frum, but I’m pretty sure you’re you’re not saying “I was wrong” so much as you’re saying “I’m changing sides now that it’s politically good for me to do so, just like it was good for me to be against it for years.” But, whatever, welcome to the side of decency, etc.

In fairness, Frum has consistently been one of the most courageous conservatives to speak outside the echo chamber since Bush left office. His FrumForum is a tiny glimmer of renaissance in a predominantly Medieval political party.
