The Solman Scale of under— and unemployed rose from 18.09 percent to 18.29 percent. That means 29,286,000 Americans say they want a full-time job, but don’t have one.

As Sarah Palin and others complain about $4-a-gallon gasoline, we can’t help but wonder what the fuss is about. Pound for pound, people pay far more than $-a-gallon for lots of their favorite things all the time.
I can’t believe Guinness only costs $64/gallon…
